The sale of tickets for the upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy matches is likely to begin soon as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finalized their prices following the approval given by the Board Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Quoting its sources, 24News TV channel reported that the prices would range between Rs1,000 and Rs25,000.
They informed that the minimum price of a ticket for a match to be played in Karachi would be Rs2,000.
Ticket price for a seat in the first-class enclosure for the Pakistan-New Zealand encounter had been fixed at Rs4,000, while that for premium at Rs7,000, sources said, adding that similarly the ticket price for the VIP Enclosure for the same match had been fixed at Rs12,000, for the Gallery at Rs25,000 and for the VVIP at Rs20,000.
For the remaining two matches in Karachi, the ticket price for the General Enclosure had been fixed at Rs1,000, for the First-Class at Rs1,500, for the Premium at Rs3,500, for the VIP at Rs7,000 and for the Gallery at Rs18,000, they informed.
For the England-Australia match to be played at Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium, the ticket price for the General Enclosure had been fixed at Rs1,000, for the First-Class at Rs2,000, for the Premium at Rs5,000, for the VIP at Rs7,500, for the VVIP at Rs12,000 and for the Gallery at Rs18,000, sources said, adding that for the matches to be played between Afghanistan and Australia and Afghanistan and England at the same venue, tickets prices range between Rs1,000 and Rs12,500.
The minimum price of a ticket for the semifinal to be played in Lahore has been fixed at Rs2,500, while the maximum price at Rs25,000.
Similarly, sources informed, the ticket price for the General Enclosure for the Pakistan-Bangladesh match had been fixed at Rs2,000, for the First-Class at Rs4,000, for the Premium at Rs7,000 and for the VIP at Rs12,500.
Tickets prices for the remaining two round matches to be played at the same venue fluctuate between Rs1,000 and Rs12,000.
