A man made a hoax call about the presence of a bomb at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Civil Aviation Exchange received a call in which a man claimed that a bomb had been placed at the Jinnah International Airport.
According to the exchange staff, the caller seemed to be a foreigner from his accent.
After the call, the security agencies at the airport were informed about the possible presence of the bomb.
The security agencies swept the area and adopted all the SOPs. But it seems that the call was just a hoax.
All the flight operations at the airport are normal.
