Former MNA Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari quits PTI over May 9 incidents

Former Member National Assembly (MNA) from NA-192 Dera Ghazi Khan Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari strongly condemned the violent incidents and attacks on military installations on May 9 and announced his separation from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) on Friday.
Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari is the son of the late Sardar Maqsood Khan Leghari, a prominent politician of the Dera Ghazi Khan district.
Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari defeated the sitting Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in the NA-192 constituency in the 2018 general election on the ticket of PTI.
On Friday, Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari while talking to media persons in his native area of Kot Chattah said he announced his separation from PTI due to the violent incidents of May 9.
He said he can't go with PTI's anti-state narrative and strongly condemned the desecration of military installations and memorials of martyrs.
About his future politics, Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari said he will continue to play his role in politics for the betterment of the people of the region.
