A member of the National Assembly belonging to the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) was caught up in uncharted waters on Friday when he came face to face with PTI founder Imran Khan during hearing of a case inside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An accountability court just concluded the hearing of the 190 million pounds reference against the former prime minister when Khan noticed the presence of PML-N MNA Danyal Chaudhry in the courtroom.
A fuming PTI founder yelled at him, saying “What are you doing here. How come you get inside. Our MNAs are sitting outside.”
Sensing the gravity of the situation, the PML-N lawmaker quickly took an about-turn and left the courtroom.
Earlier, during the hearing, the defence lawyer completed cross-examination of one more witness.
AC Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich then adjourned the hearing until June 21, directing that four more witnesses will be cross-examined on the next hearing.
So far, 30 witnesses had recorded their statements in the case and 22 of them had been cross-examined.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were present in the courtroom during the hearing.
Other PTI leaders who attended the hearing were Salman Akram Raja, Niazullah Niazi, Ali Zafar and Shoaib Shaheen.
