The Sindh government has outraced Centre and other provinces by planning to increase the salaries of its employees by up to 30 percent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The proposal is to raise the salaries of grade 1 to six employees by 30 percent, of grade 7 to 16 employees by 25 percent and of grade 17 to 22 employees by 22 percent.
According to budget proposals, the Sindh government will also raise pensions by 15 percent while setting minimum wages at Rs37,000.
It may be mentioned here that the Centre and Punjab have raised salaries by maximum 25 percent, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had already hiked pays by 10 percent, but they are rethinking that figure.
