The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) imposed a ban on any transfer or posting in the respective districts until the by-elections are held.
According to the 25News HD TV channel, transfers and postings and announcement of any development scheme will also be banned in respective districts till April 21.
The ECP also said in its notification that no government official will announce any development project in the respective districts until the by-elections.
