The Supreme Court has issued a written order for the hearing on March 6 in case against prohibited bore arms licenses, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The Supreme Court sought a written response from the federal government through the Home Secretary in case against banned arms licenses.

Court order the government to tell the court whether it is the policy of the federal government that firearms should be displayed in public? Shouldn't display of weapons in public places be banned?

The Supreme Court also issued a notice to the Attorney General.

In its order, the court wrote that People were freely left at the mercy of those who waved banned weapons.

Apparently, the police, provincial home departments and the home ministry are not interested in making people's lives safe, text of court order said.

SMGs are also openly seen outside marriage halls, markets, schools and hospitals.

People carrying arms for criminal purposes are seen in vehicles but the police ignore them.

Law abiding citizens consider themselves insecure by the display of arms.

It is surprising that the police do not have any mechanism for verifying any weapons.
