Keeping in view the hosting of the Champions Trophy, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made a plan to upgrade the Gaddafi Stadium.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Gaddafi Stadium will be adapted to the standards set by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Under the plan, the stadium's dressing rooms, and media centres will be upgraded and more hospitality boxes will be set up.
The PCB has also decided to improve the facilities for spectators to enter the stadium. It has also been decided that apart from Gaddafi Stadium, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan stadiums will be upgraded.
The design work for the up-gradation of the stadiums has started and it is expected that the work for the upgrade of the stadiums will start next month.
