Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to Mianwali, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
The chief secretary, police inspector general and officials concerned were also present.
Mohsin Naqvi visited the PAF airbase in Mianwali and Judicial Complex and reviewed the damage caused by the attack of miscreants.
Mohsin Naqvi was briefed about the situation. Talking to the media, the chief minister paid tribute to the police and security personnel for their bravery to foiling the terror attack.
He said the anti-state elements damaged public property and sensitive installations. However, he vowed to bring to book the culprits, saying the attackers and other miscreants will face the music.
Terrorism is unacceptable, he said reiterating his resolve to maintain peace. The troops who fended off the terrorist attacks are the brave sons of the soil, he said, adding that they will be awarded for their matchless zeal
The law will take its course and law-breakers will not be spared, the CM promised. Terrorism cases have been filed and 54 miscreants carried out the attack, he added.
