Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is trying to woo JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl to join Opposition parties’ grand alliance against the incumbent government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to inside information, former President Arif Alvi, MNA Asad Qaiser, Mehmood Khan Achakzai and two other key members were in contact with Maulana Fazl and urging him to join Grand Alliance.
Maulana Fazl is however reluctant to sit with Maulana Muhammad Sherani.
Earlier, the JUI-F chief was angry with the remarks of PTI MNA Sher Afzal Marwat who has been made silent by the PTI founder.
The opposition parties Grand Alliance wanted to launch a protest drive against the government with Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Earlier, JUI-F leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari met with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and discussed the overall political situation of the country.
Development projects of Balochistan province were also discussed during the meeting.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister said the government wanted to take all political forces together to solve the problems being faced by the country.
PM Shehbaz said the welfare of the people of Balochistan was among the top priorities of the government. MNA Usman Badini and Noor Alam Khan were also present at the meeting.
