Everyone's favorite Indian television show CID, is making a comeback with its much-anticipated second season, and fans are buzzing with excitement.
The announcement was made recently, and since then, viewers have been eagerly waiting for the release date to be revealed.
Adding fuel to the fire, actor Shivaji Satam, who plays the iconic ACP Pradyuman, has teased the launch with a special video message.
In a fun clip shared by Sony Entertainment Television on Instagram, Shivaji Satam, in character as ACP Pradyuman, acknowledges the overwhelming fan reactions regarding the new season.
He humorously said "Nimbu paani toh peene do, bohut garmi hai, abhi batate hai," (Let me drink the lemon water, I'll tell you soon). His playful hint has only intensified fans' anticipation for the upcoming release.
The fans flooded the comments section with love and excitement.
One fan eagerly commented, "Come Soon ACP Sir," while another guessed the release date, saying, "Mtlb sir, garmi main aane wala hai" (It looks like it's coming in the heat).
According to sources, the shooting for CID Season 2 is scheduled to begin around November 15, with the series expected to premiere in December 2024, around the Christmas or New Year period.
A source close to the production shared, "Over the years, audiences have given so much love to the TV show, and now is the time to give back the love to the audience."
