The Punjab Jagat Sabha Canada has announced that it is going to organise a special moot titled Rehmatul Lil Alameen (PBUH) Conference.
According to Jagat Punjabi Sabha Canada leader Ajaib Sing Chatha, the moot is being held to pay tribute to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and shed light on various aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The announcement comes at a time when the celebrations of Rehmatul Lil Alameen (PBUH) are in full swing in Pakistan after Prime Minister Imran Khan started celebrations of Ashra Rehmatul Lil Alameen (PBUH) a few days ago.
"Islam is a religion of peace and humanity and the West did not understand it so the authority would also be tasked with explaining Islam to the world," Imran Khan said and explained how the authority will work for the cause.
"Side-by-side we will teach other religions as well such as Hindu[ism] and Sikh[ism] because all religions talk about humanity so we would want all of them to be aware of their religions," he added.
Ajaib Sing Chatha welcomed the initiative to promote interfaith harmony and seconded the PM initiatives to spread the message of peace, love and interfaith harmony. He mentioned the opening of the Kartarpur corridor to facilitate the Sikh pilgrims to perform their rituals in Pakistan.
