Bollywood veteran actor Boney Kapoor and his daughter Khushi Kapoor inaugurated Sridevi Chowk in Mumbai paying tribute to the legendary actress who passed away six years ago.
Taking to his Instagram handle, he dropped the clicks to update her fans with the latest happenings.
In a heartfelt ceremony, the father-daughter duo unveiled the Chowk dedicated to Sridevi, known for her iconic roles in films like Mr. India, Chandni, and Judaai.
The chowk has been inaugurated in Lokhandwala. It is located near the late actress' former residence at Green Acres Tower. Actress Shabana Azmi was also present at the event.
A video has been circulating across social platforms showing Boney lifting the curtain covering a photo frame of Sridevi while Khushi stands by his side.
During the ceremony, a huge crowd was seen clapping in honor of the late actress's legacy.
Boney and Khushi expressed their gratitude for the support from fans and the film industry, which continues to celebrate Sridevi's remarkable contributions.

While Janhvi Kapoor was absent, veteran stars such as Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, and Poonam Dhillon attended the occasion.
Sridevi's last appearance was in a cameo for the 2018 film Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Anushka Sharma. Her final leading role was in the critically acclaimed film Mom (2017), which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The beloved actress tragically lost her life on February 24, 2018, due to an accidental drowning in a hotel room in Dubai. The inauguration of Sridevi Chowk stands as a testament to her enduring influence on Bollywood and the hearts of her fans.
