An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore has ordered jail authorities to arrange cancer test for Dr Yasmin Rashid from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital while Umar Sarfaraz Cheema was ordered to be hospitalised for treatment outside the jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In this regard Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leaders and former Punjab health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid and ex-governor Umar Sarfaraz Cheema had filed applications in the court for their proper treatment.
Khadija, Cheema sent on judicial remand
A court in Lahore has sent PTI leader Khadija Shah and former governor Umar Sarfaraz Cheema to jail on 14-day judicial remand in connection with attack on Askari Tower and vandalism cases.
The court ordered the police to again present them in court on September 28.
