The PM said that the government is determined to take any step to stop the spread of the virus, but “We also realize the negative effects of the lockdown on the lower-middle class and the daily wagers.”

Imran Khan further said, “We have shared standard operating procedures (SOPs) with the provinces about the industries we have allowed to open so that the workers’ safety could be ensured.”

The PM directed the minister to keep in touch with the business community and the chambers so that the application of the intended SOPs could be ensured.
