As many as four persons were killed in different accidents in different parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Motorway Police official killed on M-4
A Motorway Police (MP) official was killed when a truck crashed into the MP’s mobile van near Aminpur on Motorway (M-4).
According to reports, Inspector Mansoor Asghar died on the spot.
The truck driver was later arrested.
Two killed after car falls into ravine in Kohistan
Two persons were killed while one was injured after a car fell into a ravine in Lower Kohistan.
The injured was shifted to Al-Shifa Medical Hospital.
One dies in bus, truck collision at Muridke
In yet another accident, one person was killed while 14 others were injured when a speeding bus rammed into a Mazda truck near Muridke.
The bus was heading from Islamabad to Lahore when it struck the truck parked on the road.
Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the injured passengers to a hospital.
Those who were injured were: 27-year-old Waqar, 30-year-old Abid, 20-year-old Irfan Kazmi, 40-year-old Wajid Ali, 40-year-old Abdur Rehman, 45-year-old Ramzan, 36-year-old Shehzad, 42-year-old Mehboob, 24-year-old Ameer Hamza, 27-year-old Muhammad Sammi, 40-year-old Shahid, 35-year-old Zahid and 35-year-old Mujahid.
