Sindh has expressed concerns over the adoption of a uniform national curriculum across the country, reported 24News HD TV channel on Monday.
Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah has said that the province was in a position to adopt the uniform national curriculum. He said they had already expressed their concern over the matter.
The education minister said that the curriculum development was a provincial subject and the federal government could not enforce its decision on the provinces in this regard.
Sardar Shah said in the light of the 18th Amendment of the Constitution, the provinces have the right to develop the curriculum and we would decide this by ourselves.
