Renowned banker Sultan Ali Allana is expected to be appointed as interim finance minister in the yet-to-be formed caretaker federal cabinet, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to sources, Allana could be picked for the most challenging post of the interim finance minister due to his valuable services in taking out Pakistan from the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
He is also regarded as founder of the micro-financing in Pakistan.
Sultan Ali Allana studied Management, Mechanical Engineering and Management Technology.
