LPG prices increased by Rs10 per kg

Local marketing companies increased the price of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by another Rs10 per kg due to the price hike in the global market on Tuesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, LPG Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar said after the increase of 92 dollars per metric ton, LPG prices increased from 464 to 556 dollars per metric ton.
Irfan Khokhar said that due to an increase in the international market, the price of domestic cylinders has increased by Rs120 and the price of commercial cylinders has increased by Rs450 so the price has now increased from Rs210 per kg to Rs220 per kg.
As per the report, now the domestic cylinder is being sold for Rs2,615 instead of Rs2495 and the commercial cylinder for Rs10,030 instead of Rs9,580.
In hilly areas, LPG went up to Rs255 per kg, domestic cylinders Rs3,015 and commercial cylinders Rs11,600.
Irfan Khokhar said that the price increased by Rs20 per kg in just the last two days and there is a fear of a further increase in the price of LPG.
