Pakistan Cricket Team’s fast bowler Naseem Shah contrary to the widespread news has said that he is not injured, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that he is fully fit and prepared for the series against Afghanistan. The fast bowler added that he had asked his team Colombo Strikers that he needed rest and management allowed him to take rest.
Earlier, it was rumored that pacer Naseem Shah suffered a shoulder injury in the ongoing Lanka Premier League ahead of the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup 2023. The injury has halted Naseem Shah’s participation in the forthcoming match against the Galle Titans, leaving fans disappointed. As a replacement, Shoriful Islam has been named in the squad.
Refuting the reports, Naseem Shah said he is quite fit and ready for both international events.
