A transgender person tortured to death a rickshaw driver in Wahdat Colony area of Lahore following a verbal spat over alms begging by the former, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Reportedly, a transgender person, Adnan, was begging alms from the female passengers of an auto rickshaw. The driver asked the trans person to stay away from his female passengers. This made Adnan furious. He started beating poor rickshaw driver Ghulam Shabbir Jan.
The trans person inflicted such severe injuries on the driver that he soon succumbed to his wounds.
Police arrested accused Adnan and handed him over to the Gender Crime Cell for further investigation.
They shifted the body of the slain driver to the city mortuary.
