Sindh govt recruits 100 nurses to tackle coronavirus

The Sindh government recruited another 100 nurses in the wake second wave of coronavirus in the country. 

The provincial government hired 100 nurses in grade-16. The Sindh government notified their duties at Expo Corona Centre and Jinnah Hospital. The nurses were hired through Sindh Public Service Commission. 

The coronavirus positivity ratio in Pakistan has inched to 7.2 percent on Wednesday morning from 7.12 percent a day earlier, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) said. 

According to the latest NCOC figures, as of December 16, the highest positivity ratio was recorded in Karachi 18.76% followed by Hyderabad 16.56% and Peshawar 15.99%. 

As many as 2,510 Covid patients are in critical condition across Pakistan and the number of critical patients is rising fast.
