Islamabad Quaid-e-Azam University employees Friday reiterated their demand for stopping the Bhara Kahu bypass from dividing the land of the university into two parts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference, Dr. Amir said they are not against public interest projects and they are only objecting over completely changing the allotment of the Bhara Kahu bypass.
He said this allotment will divide the land of Quaid-e-Azam University into two parts.
He said academic blocks were to be built at this place under the master plan of the university.
“We have been protesting for 14 days and our biggest demand is to end the change of arrangement of this project.”
He said CDA also kept the government in the dark over changes in the plan and the Bhra Kahu bypass project was causing damage to the university.
He accused CDA of usurping the land of Quaid-e-Azam University.
