Utility Stores Corporation slashes tea prices nationwide

In a significant move aimed at providing relief to consumers, the state-owned Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has slashed the prices of branded tea significantly at its stores nationwide, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.


According to USC spokperson,  the price of Lipton Yellow Label Tea has been decreased from Rs. 60 to Rs. 110.


Effective immediately,the 800-gram pack, previously priced at Rs. 2195, is now available at a reduced rate of Rs. 2085.


Similarly, the 430-gram pack, initially priced at Rs. 1197, can now be purchased for Rs. 1137.


Additionally, the price of Lipton Supreme Tea in the 900-gram pack has been adjusted from Rs. 1792 to Rs. 1732, making it more accessible to a broader consumer base.
