A massive fire broke out at Jameel Sweets located in Blue Area of Islamabad on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources said that the fire quickly engulfed the entire shop which erupted due to an electricity short-circuit.
Three vehicles of fire-brigade along with local police reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
Cooling process was underway.
Earlier, in July 2024, as many as 500 shops were destroyed after a massive fire broke out in a Sunday Bazaar in Islamabad.
According to the rescue personnel, the fire broke out in the shoes and clothes section and spread quickly engulfing more shops in the bazaar.
