A policeman namely Ishtiaq Ahmad was shot dead near his home by unidentified assailants who were riding a motorcycle in Parmuli Police Station jurisdiction of Swabi on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Earlier, on December 8, 2024, nidentified assailants shot dead a renowned former electronic engineer of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) near Bilal Masjid in Swabi. The deceased former electronic engineer was later identified as Bahramand. The accused managed to flee away from the crime scene.
Soon after receiving the report of the incident, local police reached the area and started an investigation.
Earlier on December 8, 2024, four persons, including a woman, were killed while a little girl was injured after some men opened fire at a vehicle in Swabi over what was stated to be an old enmity.
The bodies were later shifted to a Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital in Topi. Police said the slain persons belonged to the Ismaila locality.
