YouTuber Yasir Shami has come to the rescue of Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt, who was arrested yesterday for accepting a lion cub and unlicensed weapons in gifts at his wedding ceremony.
In his recent blog, Shami came to the defence of Rajab Butt, asserting that the YouTuber was wrongly implicated in the case. He also expressed gratitude to CCPO Lahore for looking into the matter.
Butt is a widely followed figure in Pakistan, known for his family vlogs, stunts, and lifestyle content on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. He has 4.56 million subscribers on YouTube.
Shami clarified that Rajab had planned to get a license for the items before his arrest.
In his blog, Shami advised Butt to be careful in the selection of his true friends. Shami updated fans that Butt had been released and was now heading home. Shami assured that there was no cause for concern regarding the situation.
