Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leaders and workers staged a sit-in in Hyderabad after blocking M-9 Motorway against the alleged rigging in recent general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The highway was blocked by thousands of GDA leaders and workers to express displeasure against the ‘fraud elections’.
The Rangers and police personnel remained alert to avoid any untoward situation.
Pir of Pagaro Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi and other senior leadership of GDA will address the workers Friday noon.
Earlier, GDA chief Pir Pagara accused the PPP of ‘buying’ the elections.
In a conversation with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Pir Pagara rejected the results of the elections and blamed the PPP for rigging. He said the PPP had a free hand for rigging in 8th February General Elections.
