A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will hear a petition seeking court order to annul February 8 general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Other members on the apex court bench are Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Musarrat Hilali.
The petitioner has prayed the court to declared the general elections 2024 as null and void.
The Supreme Court issued notices to the respondents. Citizen Ali Khan requested the court to order re-election in the country after rigging in the February 8 elections.
The apex court fix the hearing for February 19.
It is pertinent to mention here that various political parties across Pakistan were staging protest demonstrations on Friday against the alleged rigging in recently-held general elections.
