Ch Parvez chairs PML-Q meeting to ponder merger with PTI

The representatives of the electoral college of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) on Monday held a consultation meeting over the merger with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the meeting was chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi while it was attended by all the representatives of the electoral college of PML-Q.

Chaudhary Wajahat Hussain, MNA Ch Hussain Elahi, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Hafiz Amar Yasir, Bau Rizwan, Shujaat Nawaz Ajnala, Abdullah Yusuf, Sajid Ahmed Khan Bhatti, Dr Afzal, Ch Ehsanul Haque, Mian Imran Masood, Basma Chaudhary, Khadija Farooqui, Khurram Manwar Manj and Ayaz Khan Niazi attended the meeting.

The participants shared their points of view regarding the merger with PTI.

The meeting expressed full confidence in the leadership of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.

It has been decided in the meeting that the consultation process will continue till the outcome of any concrete decision.

It is also decided that meetings of all PML-Q district officials will be held.

In this regard, a meeting of party office bearers will also be called at the Muslim League House Lahore.  Ch Pervez Elahi will address the party activists.

It is also decided that PML-Q women wing Punjab President Khadija Farooqui will start a consultation process with women office bearers.

The participants said that they are standing by Pervez Elahi through thick and thin.

They were of the view that PML-Q and PTI under the leadership of Ch Pervez Elahi had truly delivered to the people of the province.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that consultations have started for the future action plan and a decision will be taken by consensus.
