The first list of admission to the government dental colleges of Punjab has been released, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Monday.
According to the details, there are 189 open merit BDS seats in three government dental colleges in Punjab while the number of BDS quota seats is 51.
The highest merit was 90.4455 percent of Demont Morency College of Dentistry Lahore while the merit of Nishtar Institute of Dentistry Multan was 90.3939%.
The University of Health Sciences released the selection list of the BDS program on its website and the minimum merit on Open Merit for BDS was 90.3879%.
The merit of Dental Institute Punjab Medical College Faisalabad was 90.3879 percent and the merit on the reserved seats for overseas Pakistanis was 88.1975 percent.
As well as the merit in the seat reserved for students with disabilities was 80.6227 percent.
The minimum merit for seats reserved for backward districts was 85.5409 percent
It is mandatory for the admitted candidates to deposit the college fee by 19th January. The annual college fee for BDS's first year is Rs18,050 which could be deposited in any branch of the Bank of Punjab.
Candidates can download the college fee challan from the application portal.
The second selection list for BDS will be released on January 21.
