The second phase of recruitment in the police for 21 districts including Lahore has been stopped, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The second phase of recruitment of around six thousand constables, lady constables, traffic assistants and Wireless operators which was scheduled to take place from 18th January onwards was stopped.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Establishment issued an official letter addressing this matter.
