Mohsin Naqvi says Nadra mobile app to provide all facilities: Nadra regional offices to be established in AJK, GB, Gwadar

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that it has been decided to launch Nadra mobile app and set up three new regional offices, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

In a statement released in Islamabad on Thursday, Mohsin Naqvi said that the Pak ID website is being closed down from tomorrow, January 17. 

The three new regional centers will be set up in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gwadar and Gilgit-Baltistan, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He said that Nadra's Pak ID website will be closed and all services will be provided on the mobile app.

Citizens, especially overseas Pakistanis faced difficulties in using the website, Mohsin Naqvi said.

Mohsin Naqvi said that there was difficulty in scanning and uploading fingerprints and required documents. 

Fake elements were doing business of helping in making identity documents through fake websites, Mohsin Naqvi said.

Interior Minister said attempts were made to obtain the personal information of citizens and misuse them and to prevent these activities, the website is being closed from January 17. 

The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have taken strict notice of the fraudulent elements, Mohsin Naqvi said.

Mohsin Naqvi said that Nadra is ensuring action against these elements in collaboration with other agencies. 

Nadra's mobile app has been made much better than before and all services including identity card, NAICOP, POC, B Form and FRC are available on the mobile app, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He said that citizens can complete all the processing of identity documents on the mobile app while sitting at home. 

Mohsin Naqvi said that new regional offices will start functioning from March 31 and the establishment of these offices will facilitate communication between Nadra officials and citizens. 

The establishment of regional offices will improve the provision of services in Nadra centers in remote areas, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He said that the problems of citizens will be resolved quickly and complaints will be redressed immediately. 

The target of establishing Nadra offices in all tehsils of the country will be achieved by March 31, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He said that Nadra offices were yet to be established in only 19 tehsils across the country and work is going on rapidly in this regard and Nadra offices will also be functional in these tehsils by March 31.
