An accountability court endorsed the approval of plea bargain of a tractor scam co-accused in the fake account case, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
Following the The accountability court of Muhammad Bashir endorsed plea bargain after National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal accepted it.
Ghulam Sarwar, a tractor dealer, was caught in connection with the fake account case and his plea bargain stood Rs300 million.
He was presented before the court that court asked him if he knows he can't hold any public office after the plea bargain. As Ghulam Sarwar told that court that he knew about the fact, the court endorsed his plea.
Two of the accused has already entered into the plea bargain in the case. According to NAB, tractors of schemes were issued for ghost farmers and sold in the market in this scam. Four of the suspect have so far been nabbed in the scam.
