A woman who was referred to Aziz Bhatti Hospital of Gujrat by Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Kharian Saturday gave birth to a baby in the ambulance, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The expecting woman, upon her situation getting critical, was taken to THQ hospital in Kharian where the medical staff refused to admit her and instead referred her to Aziz Bhatti Hospital in Gujrat.
On the way to Gujrat, the rescue worker helped her deliver the baby in the ambulance.
MS of Aziz Bhatti Hospital Gujrat Dr. Zafar Mehdi said that the patient did not reach the hospital and the staff is also unaware of the incident.
The citizens appealed to the authorities to take action against the management of the Kharian hospital.
