The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has condemned the government's decision to impose a ban on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the HRCP demanded the ‘unconstitutional decision to ban PTI should be withdrawn immediately’
It added: “This move clearly violates the party members' rights under Article 17.
“The PTI has become the largest party in Parliament after getting reserved seats.

The HRCP continued: “The HRCP is surprised by the government's decision to ban PTI.
“When the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that PTI is a political party. such a move shows political despair.
“The government needs to work on providing relief to the people. The HRCP demands immediate withdrawal of this unconstitutional decision."
