The transporters on Thursday increased the fares of travel between Lahore and other cities by Rs50 and Rs300 following the hike in the prices of petroleum products, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It is learnt that an increase of Rs200 has been added to the fare of travel between Lahore and Bhakkar.
An increase of Rs100 has been added to the fare of travel between Lahore and Chakwal.
An increase of Rs50 has been added to the fare of travel between Lahore and Faisalabad.
The fare of travel between Lahore and Jhawarian has been increased by Rs100.
The fare of travel from Lahore to Narowal and Zafarwal has been increased by Rs100.
The fare of travel between Lahore and Malikwal has been increased by Rs200.
The fare of travel between Lahore and Chiniot has been increased by Rs50 to Rs600.
The fare of travel between Lahore and Sialkot has been increased by Rs100 to Rs600.
The fare of travel between Lahore and Sargodha has been increased to Rs900.
Lahore to Multan fare has been increased by Rs100 to Rs1,100.
Lahore to Bahawalpur fare has been increased by Rs100 to Rs1,200.
The transporters are worried about the attitude of passengers after the fare hike, for the passengers are very angry after the fare hike.
