Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to provide foolproof security to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The prime minister was given a detailed briefing by the interior ministry on the security of PTI chief Imran Khan, said the official sources.
Shehbaz Sharif directed Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to provide foolproof security to the PTI chief and former prime minister.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also directed to immediately provide a chief security officer to the former prime minister.
He also directed all the provincial governments to provide security to the public rallies of PTI chairman Imran Khan.
Recently, Imran Khan while addressing a public rally claimed that a plot had been hatched to assassinate him, asking the people to get justice to him if he is killed.
