A large number of women fed up with hours-long electricity loadshedding on Wednesday staged a protest demonstration outside the Wapda grid station in Dera Ismael Khan and blocked the road for traffic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The female protesters forced the closure of Grid Road, saying that power outages of up to 22 hours are no more tolerabale.
They said they are facing numerous difficulties while carrying out house chores while their children are also facing troubles in getting their education.
They criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Governor Faisal Karim Kundi for ignoring people’s sufferings.
The charged women protesters chanted slogans against CM Ali Amin Gandapur, asking the power supply is not being suspended to Al-Amin House and Kundi Model Farm.
