Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Tuesday demanded the government to hold a judicial inquiry into the matter of Justice ® Rana Shamim’s affidavit.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Maulana Fazlur Rehman held a press conference in Quetta on Tuesday and said they had a right to raise their voices when they observed interference in politics.
Talking to the media Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) head said state institutions were putting boots on the necks of smaller coalition parties to convene a joint sitting of parliament.
Maulana Fazl said it was known which members were taken to safe houses and which opposition members had been told not to attend the meeting.
The PDM chief said that they thought that it was their duty to fight for the nation and the country.
