An Anti-terrorism court in Lahore Wednesday granted bail to PTI activist and daughter of former finance minister Khadija Shah in a new case related to violent May 9 incidents, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
She had been already granted bail in two other cases.
Anti-Terrorism Court Administrator Judge Abhar Gul Khan conducted the hearing and granted bail to Khadija Shah and other Shahroz, Rohina Khan, Elahi Bakhsh and Muhammad Ahmed.
The court ordered the release of the accused individuals on a surety bond of Rs100,000 each.
Khadija Shah, accused of the burning of police vehicles at Rahat Bakery Chowk, had her case record submitted by the Anti-Terrorism Prosecution. Represented by Advocate Sameer Khosa, Shah's legal team successfully argued for her release, securing bail in the ongoing legal battle.
This development comes after Khadija Shah had already been granted bail in cases related to the Jinnah House and Askari Tower attacks, marking a series of legal victories for her. The Sarwar Road police station had registered the latest case (case number 109/23).
