Villager’s 52kg ‘treasure’ catch lands him in jail

A Punjab Wildlife Department team has arrested a villager in Sadiqabad for trying to sell a rare heavy turtle on the social media, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The man, a resident of Chak No 177 of Sadiqabad, caught a large rare turtle, which weighed around 52 kilograms (1 mound and 12 kgs).

The villager wanted to sell the turtle hoping for a big money.

He even posted a video on social-media showing catching the rare turtle.
