The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has lost a National Assembly seat to the Pakistan People’s Party in the by-election.
As per the results of 160 polling stations of NA-237 Karachi, PPP candidate Abdul Hakeem Baloch secured the seat by bagging more than 24000 votes while Imran Khan got 18,617 votes.

The PTI has also lost its seat to the PPP in Multan where the son of Yousaf Raza Gilani beat the daughter of Shah Mehmood Qureshi by a considerable margin.
The PTI won the Multan seat in the 2018 general election. Musa lost the polls to Zain Qureshi the son of the former foreign minister in 2018.
