Earthquake tremors were felt in Sawat Valley and its adjacent areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.1 with a depth of 110 kilometres. The epicentre of the earthquake is reported to be around the Hindu Kush mountain range.
The tremors caused panic and fear among the people. They came out from their residences while reciting Kalma.
No loss of life or property has been reported as yet.
