Farhat Naek, the wife of renowned Islamic scholar and preacher Dr. Zakir Naek, on Tuesday visited the Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Lahore and held a scholarly discussion with the members of the faculty and students, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Wife of Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, Professor Munazza Iqbal, Professor Shamsa Humayun, Professor Zuhra Khanum, Professor Shireen Khawar, Professor Alia, Professor Naghmana Lateef and close to 500 students attended the session.
The session was followed by a question and answer session after which the students presented Farhat with a bouquet while the teachers presented her shields.
Expressing their jubilation over the presence of the wife of a renowned Islamic scholar in their midst, the teachers as well as the students said they had learnt a lot from today’s lecture.
