Turkish actor Cavit Çetin Güner, who portrays the role of Dogan Alp in historical drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul, arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday morning.
However, his pictures have gone viral on social media platforms in which the actor could be seen riding a horse as he visits Blue World City in Islamabad.
The pictures have received thousands of likes and fans are excited to meet the star live.
Earlier, Guner turned to Instagram and shared a short video clip of Pakistani folk music and wrote, “Gooood morning, Islamabad, Pakistan.”
The Turkish-made series has earned praise for its focus on historical figures from the Muslim world who have been framed as role models for Pakistani youths, and the Urdu-language version of the show has racked up more than 240 million views on YouTube alone.
Ertugrul has gripped audiences with its daring protagonist, cliffhangers and high production values since it began broadcasting on the first day of the Islamic holy month.
