Punjab IG Dr Usman Anwar Friday during his visit to a police training college in Sihala announced starting Safe City project in other cities including Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Punjab IG Dr Usman Anwar added that Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi will soon open a service center equipped with state of the art and modern facilities.
He said that for the deliverance of quality and smart policing, better and improved training of the force is important. Thus, developments and reforms for the welfare in all police services are being ensured.
Addressing the officers under training, he said that great nations are made of great people and organizations are made better due to the efforts put in by the workers. The training courses based on the latest syllabus plays an important role in the professional and social character building of the students.
