Three persons, including two brothers, were killed, in two separate incidents of firing in Khairpur, bringing the total number of people shot dead in the city during the last two days to seven, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Two brothers namely Anees and Amjad Rahojo were shot dead by their rivals in Khairpur Pir Goth Rahuja area, while Mir Samteo was gunned down in Sobhodero.
Police said both brothers were wanted in connection with several cases.
Police shifted the bodies to the Civil Hospital.
Members of civil society have said that lawlessness has increased in Khairpur as the city has been without an SSP for the last 15 days.
