Special Assistant to Prime Minister Attaullah Tarar questioned Wednesday, “Why are there earthquakes over two-day remand and two-day imprisonment [of Shahbaz Gill]? Did Imran Khan remove his chief of staff for giving the [seditious] statement?” reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He also said that in the whole game, Pervaiz Elahi was helpless while his sons were calling the shots.

“Rana Sanaullah and Shehbaz Sharif were kept in prison. Did the jail superintendent was transferred then?” he questioned further.

“However, when Ladla spent a night in jail, the entire administration sprang into action,” he deplored.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry said that despite Toshakhana case, Ladla was declared eligible to contest the by-election.

“How can Imran Khan be eligible to contest election? Are there two laws in this country? One law for Ladla, the other for ordinary Pakistanis?” he questioned.

“The decision of the election commission is half. Imran Khan should be examined under Article 62, 63. The election commission should wake up from sleep,” he emphasised.

“This [Imran Khan] emir of ‘state of Madinah’ has eaten the entire Toshakhana. He did not even spare vases and tea sets. He also bought an iPhone given by a country as gift for Rs35,000,” he deplored.

“Imran Khan did not disclose the valuables of Toshakhana in his assets. The assets of Imran Khan’s wife too have not been disclosed. How can he be eligible to contest election?” he questioned.
