Five people died and six others sustained injuries as a van rammed into a dumper on a highway in Thatta district of Sindh province on Wednesday.
According to the details, a van was heading on a highway in Gharo area of Thatta. The van slipped on the highway due to the leakage of oil from an oil tanker and collided with a parked dumper. As a result, five people died on the spot and six others received injuries. Police and rescue teams reached the site and shifted the bodies and injured people to nearby hospital.
The deceased were belonged to Hindu community. They were working at a rice factory. They were heading towards Umarkot to spend their holidays.
